Overview

At North Cerney Primary Academy we are dedicated to ensuring that the pupils voices are heard and that they have a role in forming the education they receive and have a chance to contribute in wider aspects of school life. This is done a variety of ways but most visibly in our school councils.

Each September the children have the opportunity to put themselves forward for the various school councils and class votes are made if needed. Elections also take place for head girl and boy as well as house captains.

This is an important part of school tradition and teaches children about core British values. Children are also often invited to pupil voice conferences about specific subject areas and key events that happen in school.

The councils that we have running this year are our School Council, our Worship Council and our Eco-Council. For more information about these please click on the specific pages.
