Safeguarding and internet safety information

Safeguarding information for parents
Our Designated safeguarding lead is: Mrs Suki Pascoe Executive Headteacher
Our Designated safeguarding deputy is: Miss Sarah Law
Our Designated safeguarding Governor is: Sophie McCracken
If you have safeguarding concerns please speak to the above.
Our priority is to keep our pupils and staff safe at all times.
All visitors not known to us will be asked for proof of identification and asked for a current DBS check if appropriate.
All volunteers and helpers are required to have a full DBS check before helping at the school.
No adult has unsupervised access to our pupils unless appropriately cleared to do so.
Our school operates a clear badge and lanyard system to ensure this is adhered to.
The internet is a fun and useful resource for everyone but their are risks. We make our pupils aware if the risks throughout the school year and we deliver this message in the following ways:
  • teacher input in I.T lessons
  • Presentations given by the local schoolbeat police officer
  • Visits to Skillzone in Gloucester
